A landscape test of a cell type render. I'm probably going to go for a more realistic style than this but it was a useful test.
This was done using ShaderLab in trueSpace. I used an transparency mask to on the highest layer to make the snow cap and UV toon and Cell Shader Pro to get the cell banding on the mountain.
The Snow on the ground had another procedural texture from ShaderLab. |

Another landscape test. I used some of Tom Grimes' ShaderLab Shaders, available here.
The snow on the ground was done the same way but this time the rock texture and the snowcap was done with Tom's TG Slope Ramp Gradient shader. I did prefer this one so i'll probably try and get a similar effect in Lightwave. |

A building test. This was a rough version of the Kings residence in Cyngbur.
It was shaded using ShaderLab (again) and UV Toon, plus a few textures for the door, door frame and window frames. |

The hill was made using trueSpace 7.6's Displacement Mapping feature and the same TG Slope Ramp Gradient shader used on the mountains. |

A quick test of Earl Redwalds tower Keep.
Just a basic, unedited texture on it. I've changed the design of this a bit now but this was a good starting point. |

A real-time view of Earl Redwalds fortress.
The oblong buildings are accomodation for the forts guards. The entrances are at the back so attackers would have to get right around them to get in.
The arrow-loops face the front and sides so attackers would have to run past them, taking considerable amounts of fire.
The walkways at the top are there to allow arrows and javalins to thrown down at anyone in range.
Most of the texture weren't applied at this stage, just temp one to be replaced later. |

This was rendered in using VRay for trueSpace using a HDRI map. |
